A gourd bowl. Hemispherical in shape with an upright rim. Decorated with carvings on the body and base. The decoration includes linear bands and triangle based patterns. With a contemporary repair to one side, where a crack has been secured with cane.

Surface very neatly executed carving, with alternating areas of bands of lines and various kinds of stippled and cross-hatched areas with triangles in them. Has split on one side and has been sewn together with a strip of cane. Thomas Coll.'
